Shri Vidyaprasanna Tirtha Devaranamagalu

His Holiness Śrī Vidyāprasanna Tīrtha (1935–1969), a revered pontiff in the illustrious guru lineage of the Śrī Vyāsarāja Maṭha, adorned the pontifical seat for thirty-four years. Alongside his distinguished spiritual leadership, he composed numerous devotional hymns (Devaranāmas) marked by simplicity, elegance, and profound spiritual insight.

These compositions have remained alive on the lips of devotees from the time of their composition to the present day, a testament to their enduring devotional appeal and literary excellence.
